TEXTILE
Our emulsions and formulations are also used in the textile sector as a softener.
The industrial softener is used for the treatment of textiles, during the washing cycle. With this washing, it is achieved that the garments do not have such a hard touch, making it easier to work later during the making of them.
The first softeners were used to treat cotton and were an emulsion of water, soap and olive oil, corn or fat of animal origin.
The softener components will be modified according to the type of fabric to be used for and the properties you need to contribute to the fabric.
Among the properties provided by our products on textiles can be highlighted the following: softness, greater ease of ironing, less propensity to wrinkles, improve the resistance of textiles, make the textile fluffier…
- PE emulsions depending on the character, non-ionic, anionic or cationic, improve the touch, abrasion, tear resistance and lubrication of the textile at the passage of the needle. They can also provide resistance to abrasion and dry and wet rubbing.
- Our paraffin emulsions, depending on their ion character, offer textiles a lubrication effect that helps them to have a uniform and pleasant texture to the touch. It is also possible to reduce static electricity. Some of them are suitable for the hydrofugation of awnings, canvases, and textiles in general and useful in the folding of fabrics where water resistance and flexibility are required.
